Warwick generosity helps two great causes

UniBrass and Brass for Africa are given a boost thanks to the generosity of people enjoying the music at the University of Warwick.

Brass for Africa

The University of Warwick Music Centre's annual free concert was recently held at Butterworth Hall of Warwick Arts Centre.

Generous patrons

With a large audience, various music societies performed after only a few rehearsals of the academic year, with Warwick Brass Society allowed to raise money for UniBrass and Brass for Africa, by collecting donations — with a remarkable £1036.00 given by generous patrons.

Good causes

UniBrass, the world's only inter-university brass band contest, is being hosted at the University of Warwick for the second year on 14th February 2015, whilst Brass for Africa provides music education to some of the poorest parts of Africa, transforming young lives and communities.

They work to build schools in communities to help young people to escape poverty.
