Last call for Merthyr rising

The last call has gone out for entries for the final leg of the 2014 Welsh League series in Merthyr Tydfil.

Bands from both Wales and England are being reminded that the closing date for entries for the South East Wales Brass Band Association Contest in Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday 22nd of November is the Saturday 18th October.

The contest provides an exciting climax to the 2014 Welsh League series, which this year has already seen excellent competitions run in Merthyr and Fishguard.

Own choice

The own choice test piece event takes place at the new Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre, which provides excellent facilities and is surrounded by numerous retail, food and entertainment outlets.

The contest is organised in accordance with the joint SEWBBA/WWBBA contesting rules.
