Tell Aunty what you want, what you really, really want...

The BBC is giving licence fee payers a chance to tell them exactly what they want to hear on the radio. So forget the Spice Girls and start demanding more brass bands...

oN AIR

The BBC Trust is undertaking a service review into the music that is played on its many stations.

View

The Music Radio Consultation is aimed to gain views on some of the BBC’s network radio services — specifically those that provide music — from Radio 1 to 6 Music and more.

They want people to inform them of what they like, dislike and what they believe the BBC should do to make these radio services better.

Encourage

They would also like to encourage views from as many people as we can from across the United Kingdom, and people from a wide variety of ages, and social, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

You will be asked a series of questions about BBC’s music radio services. The first section asks you about your overall impression of the BBC’s music radio services and is then followed by questions on each individual service.

What you like

They will also ask you about what kind of music you like and how you listen to the radio. You can answer about as many or as few radio stations as you wish.

So if you want to hear more brass band music on the BBC then now’s your chance to let them know…

The consultation is open until 29th October.
