We had yet another great response to our Monday quiz as people made sure they got their entries in to try and get their hands on one of the three brilliant ‘The Symphonic Euphonium’ CDs from David Childs.
Flowers
Just about everyone managed to pick out the right answer: David will be playing with the Flowers Band at the National Finals.
The three winners were Keith Whittingham, Nick Wilmott and Tim Pickles, who we will be getting in touch with ASAP to send them their great prizes.
Eclectic set
This Friday we have an eclectic set of CDs on offer — with a quartet that features another David Childs ‘Symphonic Euphonium’ release plus something a bit different from the Steve Waterman Jazz Orchestra, the group Fringe Magnetic and one from the mysterious Jonny Midnight — thanks to our friends at Geneva Instruments.
How’s that for expanding your musical horizons?
Question:
All you have to do is tell us is what is the bore size of the Geneva Symphony cornet?
Is it:
