A village dubbed ‘The most patriotic in England’ has had its First World War Memorial Cross rededicated to mark the war's centenary.
Rededicated
The cross was given to Barrow-upon-Trent after it won a competition for providing a higher proportion of its men signing up for duty than any other village in Derbyshire.
