The Shrewsbury Band has welcomed a brace of new players.

The Shrewsbury Band has welcomed two new players to their ranks, with composer James Butterworth-Smith joining on euphonium and music teacher Patrick Gough coming in on baritone.

Buglers

Meanwhile, the band has also joined forces with eight former buglers from the Kings Shropshire Light Infantry, who will join the band for several performances throughout their concert season.
