The Black Dyke Band has now released details of their programme for the second half of the Gala Concert of the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival which takes place at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on Saturday 13th September.
Of Distant Memories
The band will round their set off with Edward Gregson’s ‘Of Distant Memories’ in a programme that will also feature ‘Enter the Galaxies by’ Paul Lovatt-Cooper, ‘Dreams and Dances’ by Philip Harper featuring soloist Zoe Hancock and Kenneth Downie’s transcription of ‘Lord of All Hopefulness’.
Brighouse & Rastrick Band and Foden’s Band under conductors David King and Richard Evans will perform the first half of the Gala Concert, the details of which have already been released.
