Cory return home for Open showcase

National champion Cory will be giving their home fans a chance to hear their preparation on the British Open test piece this week.

Fresh from their short tour to Holland, where they entertained packed audiences in concerts in Leeuwarden and Eindhoven, National Champion Cory is now setting its sights firmly on the British Open Championship title in Birmingham.

Sneak preview

With Dutch supporters (and the composer) already getting a sneak preview of their preparations on the set work, ‘Vita Aerterna Variations’ with performances at both concert events, those a little closer to home can now find out just how the band is getting on.

Cory will present the work at the Parc Hall on Wednesday 3rd September under the baton of MD Philip Harper, as well as a number of items from it ‘Brass on Sunday’ concert programme, which they perform the very next day at Symphony Hall.

Time and place

The MDs baton comes down on the stroke of 7.30pm, so get there early from 7.00pm onwards at Parc Hall, Parc Road, Cwmparc, Treorchy, Rhondda Cynon Taff, CF42 6LD.
