The organisers of the 162nd British Open Championship have been informed by the management at Symphony Hall that bands and supporters should give themselves extra time to arrive at the venue next weekend for the contest.
Crane
The unforeseen positioning of a crane on King Edward Road close to the hall means that bands should use the access for coach drop off via Paradise Circus & Cambridge Street, whilst traffic hold ups may be a problems too.
Inconvenience
A spokesperson told 4BR: "Symphony Hall has apologised in advance for any inconvenience this may cause on the day, and thanks everyone for their co-operation and understanding.
If bands and supporters would now take additional time with their arrangements it will minimize any further risk of disruption."
