The Bunbury City Band in Perth, Western Australia, has announced that eight compositions have now been shortlisted for consideration for their 110th anniversary composition competition.
Entries
Entries were received from all over the banding world — including the UK, with the final eight entries to be performed in a unique world premiere event this weekend at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre by the Royal Agriculture Society of Western Australia (RASWA) Band conducted by Dr Alan Lourens (above).
The winner of the cash prize will be decided by an audience vote and expert panel during the interval to the concert, whilst a ‘People's Choice’ award will also be made.
