Sale Brass Band has announced the appointment of Joshua Hughes as their new Musical Director.

Band Secretary Soo Rose Coo told 4BR: "The band really looking forward to a progressive future under Josh's direction.

He has already brought a wealth of enthusiasm to the band — introducing new challenging music, entering the Butlin's Mineworkers contest for the first time, as well as leading a working party to redecorate the bandroom in Sale Brass colours!"
