Midlands Area announce 2015 judges

There is an interesting mix of youth and experience for the Midland bands to impress if they want to get to London and Cheltenham in 2015.

The Midlands Regional Championship Committee has announced the line-up of judges for the 2015 Area contest which will take place on the weekend of the 7th/8th March.

Top flight duo

Top flight contenders wishing to claim a place at the Royal Albert Hall will have to impress Alan Morrison, Chairman of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators and MD of the EYMS Band, and Flowers MD, Paul Holland.

There is also a balance of youth and experience in the other sections with John Doyle, Mark Wilkinson, John Berryman and Mike Kilroy making the decisions on who gets to Cheltenham.

Adjudicators:

Championship Section: Alan Morrison & Paul Holland
First Section: John Doyle & Mike Kilroy
Second Section: John Berryman & Mark Wilkinson
Third Section: John Berryman & Mark Wilkinson
Fourth Section: John Doyle & Mike Kilroy

Yorkshire date

The excellent facilities at Bedworth Civic Hall and Nicholas Chamberlaine College will play host to the competing bands on the same weekend as the Yorkshire Regional Championships in Bradford.
