The Camborne Band has announced that Tim Joslin has rejoined the recently crowned 2014 Royal Trophy winners in Bugle, as their new solo Eb tuba.
Wurzels
Tim re-joins the band after playing with Roche Brass at the famous West of England Bandsman's Festival. Since last playing for Camborne in 2009, Tim has been enjoying himself as the sousaphone player with the very successful Cornish Wurzels.
He told 4BR: "I’m really excited to be back with Camborne. I've had a great few years with the Cornish Wurzels and would like to thank them for their friendship during that time."
First spell
Tim’s first spell with Camborne started in 1982 and during his tenure he helped them reach the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall on no less than 15 occasions.

Musical Director, Kevin MacKenzie added: "It’s great to sign Tim back to the band. He is one of the finest and most experienced lower brass players in the South West and it’s pleasing to have an even stronger section available to us as a result."
