This weekend there will be not one, but two chances to support the wonderful girls of ‘Boobs & Brass’, following the news that the amazing organisation will field two full bands in their famous pink jackets at the Whit Friday march contests.
Boobs 1&2
Girls from the Midlands and the South East of England areas will be marching in ‘Boobs & Brass 1’, whilst the lasses from the Yorkshire area will make up ‘Boobs & Brass 2’.
And with over 400 men now diagnosed with breast cancer each year, both bands will feature at least a couple of male players who are offering their full support.
To date, the amazing musicians have raised over £137,000 for charity — the main benefactor being Breast Cancer Campaign.
Helping the cause
Helping the cause this year is Warwick Music who have presented the bands with eight pink pBones, which will be played and then sold to help raise further much needed funds.

More projects
The two Boobs & Brass stalwarts Jane & Maggie told 4BR: "Money already donated to the charity has funded five research projects, and we have recently selected the sixth, which is being undertaken at Birmingham University.
We aim to raise £20,000 before the end of 2014 to fund this."
