The Leyland Band has announced a brace of new signings.

Ashley Jeffers joins the North West outfit on solo baritone with Darren Wood coming in on second cornet.

Experience

With 13 years of experience at Pemberton Old Wigan, Ashley recently completed her degree at the University of Salford. She replaces Hannah Platt who has relocated from the area through work.

Meanwhile, Darren, a self employed insurance broker, joins from Hepworth, bringing with him 35 years of playing experience.

Previously a member of Hammonds, BT and Bollington, he replaces Elaine Doran, who is taking a sabbatical ahead of the birth of her first child in October.
