Bilton proclaim their fund raising efforts

A brilliant team effort has seen the players and supporters of Bilton Silver Training and Mini Brass notch up a great 500 mile fund raising effort.

500 miles

The amazing young players and supporters of Bilton Silver Training and Mini Brass ensembles recently took up the literal challenge of meeting the famous Proclaimers pop song, ‘500 miles’ to help raise much needed funds for new music and instruments.

Combined total

The intrepid walkers, cyclists and runners actually notched up an incredible combined total of 605 miles around a five mile circuit at their local Draycote Water beauty spot to raise close to £1,400.

It was certainly a team effort, with a total of 103 parents, grandparents, siblings and friends taking to the road with undiluted enthusiasm and determination.
