Open gains excellent registry response

The British Open Registry is working well after excellent response from bands.

On line registry

The British Open Registrar Colin Johnson has told 4BR that he has received an excellent response to the introduction of the recently launched British Open online registry.

Thanks

"I would like to express my thanks to everyone for their patience and assistance," he said.

"The phased implementation of the new British Open online registry is working well and running smoothly — as was shown at the Spring Festival, which exceeded our expectations and was favourably received."

British Open implementation

Colin revealed that he will conclude the parallel implementation period during the British Open in September, before the registration process becomes fully operational at the 2015 Spring Festival.

He added: "I would invite all potential Spring Festival bands to complete the upload of all the player photographs via the internal support system provided.

All the British Open bands have sent in details – led by the reigning champion Tredegar, so it shows that it is a system that has great support."

Get in touch

Colin added: "As always, if there are any problems, please get in touch via phone, email, or the registry internal support system, and I’ll be very happy to help if assistance or advice is required."
