The three players who will compete in the final of the 6th European Soloist Competition in Perth Concert Hall on Thursday evening have been announced.
Trio
Following two rounds of high class qualification, Scottish tuba player Ross Knight, euphonium player Philippe Schwartz representing Luxembourg, and trombonist Vidar Nordli from Norway will perform with the Kirkintilloch Band.
The contest will be adjudicated by Frode Amundsen, Simone Rebello and Alan Morrison.
Time and place
The event starts at 7.30pm and will include a performance by the European Youth Brass Band under the baton of MD, Russell Gray.
