The Oldham Band (Lees) has announced that they have made a brace of signings ahead of their appearance at the Spring Festival in Blackpool in a few weeks time.

Relationship

Grant Taylor joins from Brighouse & Rastrick. The ex-Leyland man is currently Head of Music at Waterhead Academy in Oldham and look forward to teaming up with Grant to grow our relationship with the school for further projects.

Meanwhile, former principal cornet, Maria Swingley returns ‘home’, rejoining on the solo cornet bench.

Good form

Band spokesperson told 4BR: "We look forward to the Senior Trophy where we're hoping to continue our good form and gain promotion to the Senior Cup."
