EYMS set for St Magnus opening

North of England challenger will be holding their own St Magnus opening on Friday

East Yorkshire Motor Services Band is to hold their ‘St Magnus’ open rehearsal ahead of its bid to claim the North of England Regional title for the first time since 2009.

The rehearsal will take place on Friday 14th March at the Albemarle Music Centre, Ferensway, Hull, starting at 8.00pm prompt.

Live feeling

Band Chairman Tony Newiss told 4BR: "We are expecting a number of music students to be at the open rehearsal and we would also love as many members of the public as possible to be at the Albemarle to create that ‘live’ feeling for the band."
