A host of new signings are settling in at the seaside as Blackpool Brass prepares for next month's, North West Regional contest.
Cornet trio
Mike Pritt has stepped into the principal cornet seat with the section being strengthened further by the arrival of Hayley and Colin Tarry.
Carol Dial has taken up the solo baritone position and after nearly twenty years, George Hill has also returned to boost the baritone section.
Family ties
The trombone section is now very much a family affair, with mother and son, Lisa and Daniel Walker on solo and second trombone. Lisa, like George is making a return to banding, seventeen years after she last played with Rothwell Temperance.
Blackpool Brass are also delighted to welcome Ian Holland and Paul Pinington from Thornton Cleveley's who have signed to help for the contest before returning to their band, whilst Jeremy Davies will join up with the band after the Regional contest.
