Coventry Festival Band has announced that the signing of euphonium and cornet players Samantha Kemp and Player Steve Fletcher in time to help the band appear in the stage version of ‘Brassed Off’.

Signings

Samantha come to the band after enjoying a spell with the Amington Band, which was curtailed due to her work commitments, whilst Steve joins on second cornet after a short having previously played the City of Coventry Corps of Drums.

Massive asset

MD Josh Hughes told 4BR: "Samantha is a superb player with plenty of experience and will be a massive asset to the band, whilst Steve is an emerging talent and is looking to continue his development with us.
