Report & Results: 2014 Scottish Borders Solo & Ensemble

There was a great turn out of playing talent in the Borders of Scotland on the weekend.

Cornets
 

The Scottish Borders Brass Band Association held its annual Borders Youth Solo, Ensemble & Band Championship on Saturday 18th January in Teviot Church in Hawick.

There was an excellent entry with the top three in each solo and small ensemble section qualifying to compete in the Scottish Solo & Ensemble Finals in Livingston on Saturday 1st February.

The adjudicator was John Doyle and the accompanist was Mrs Fiona Dickson.
