Prestige Promotions will present the Black Dyke Band in concert in the exquisite surroundings of Norwich Cathedral on Saturday 8th February 2014 at 7.30pm.

Dyke workshop

Marketing Manager Martin Blessett told 4BR: "As well as hosting what is going to be a fantastic concert from one of the world’s top brass bands, we are also thrilled to announce that the band have kindly agreed to run a workshop in the afternoon for local band enthusiasts and musicians."

Afternoon stars

The workshop is being held at the Salvation Army in St. Giles Street, Norwich at 1.00pm. The cost of the workshop on its own is £10.00 per person. Tea and refreshments are also provided at a cost of £5.00 a head.

Discount

Martin added: "If you wish to wish to attend the workshop, have tea and enjoy the concert, we are happy to offer an exclusive price of £30 all inclusive.

However, if booking for a party of 10 or more, we are also offering a 25% discount so this will reduce to £22.50 per head."

Tickets

Tickets for the concert are priced at £19.50 and £17.00 for concessions. The 25% discount is also available for parties of 10 or more for just attending the concert.

This workshop is being run in conjunction with Besson with Richard Marshall (Principal Cornet) and Gary Curtin (Solo Euphonium) leading the afternoon event aimed at encouraging and informing musicians of all ages and abilities.

If there is sufficient interest shown, other players will be available on the day.

June 15 • We have a vacancy for soprano cornet, and with lots of exciting engagements coming up would love to get this seat filled!. As a second section band,we rehearse every Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our bandroom in Tintwistle under the baton of MD Jim Henson.
