The Rogerstone Band has announced the appointment of Jeff Hutcherson as their new Musical Director.
The well known BTM Band cornet player is hoping to lead one of Welsh banding’s most famous names back to the contest stage after an absence of more than a year.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Jeff now has turned his hand to conducting, and has already demonstrated his boundless enthusiasm and capability at two rehearsals, looking at the Area test piece, ‘Cry of the Mountain’.
The band has not competed for twelve months, and is now very keen to get back to the contest stage."
