One of Woodfalls Band stalwart players and administrators has just celebrated 40 years of dedicated service to the current Senior Cup champions
40 years
Brian Easterbrook has served the band as a player, committee member, Band Treasurer and more latterly as Band Secretary since joining the band on 3rd January 1974.
Apart from the recent highlights of seeing the band win the Senior Cup and claim their highest ever finish at the National Finals when they came sixth at the Albert Hall last October, he was also part of the band that won the Grand Shield in 1974 and 1985, the Senior Cup again in 2010, the Yeovil Entertainment title in 2011 and a trio of West of England Area triumphs.

Major role
Brian also played a major role in securing a long term sponsorship partnership with South West Trains, which he himself estimated brought over £400,000 to the band coffers in a twenty year association, as well as organising a series of high profile RBL Poppy Appeal concerts.
