The International Brass Band Summer School to be held in Swansea between the 3rd — 9th August, next year has confirmed its line up of international star tutors.
World class tutors
Black Dyke principal cornet Richard Marshall will be assisted by former Cory bumper-up Chris Turner, whilst Owen Farr will take charge of the flugel and horn delegates.
Globetrotting virtuoso Brett Baker will be on hand to lend his expertise to the trombones, whilst the tubas will come under the eye of Joseph Cook.
Brilliant combination
The new euphonium tutors for the 2014 course will be a brilliant combination of black and purple, as Black Dyke’s Gary Curtin is joined by Brighouse & Rastrick’s David Thornton.
A spokespeson for the IBBSS told 4BR: "The IBBSS continues to provide a wonderful opportunity for players from all over the word to come to Swansea and enjoy a musical experience like no other.
