The Leicestershire Brass Band Association has announced the impressive line up of bands that will compete at their Open competition to be held at Charnwood College in Loughborough on Sunday 24th November.
Welcome visitors
70 bands will make to trip to compete in six sections — including welcome visitors from Norway with Tertnes Brass.
Two halls will be utilised starting at 9.00am to accommodate the high number of entries, whilst the organisers have told 4BR that they are delighted to have secured the services of adjudicators Phil Bailey, Peter Bassano, Paul Norley, Ian Brownbill and Nicholas Garman.
The Association also added that they would still like to invite any supporters or enthusiasts that may be interested in stewarding or helping to look after competing bands on contest day to get in touch with Association Secretary Lesley Bentley on lesley.bentley@dsl.pipex.com
