Welsh banding will have an ideal opportunity to celebrate its recent successes at the National Finals in Cheltenham when the second round of the 2013 Welsh League Championship takes place in Burry Port on Saturday 5th October.
Encouraging field
The event takes place at Burry Port Memorial Hall with an encouraging field of 29 bands in the five senior, junior and youth sections.
The contest will start at 10.00am and the adjudicators will be Tom Davoren and John Doyle. Highly respected Welsh National Orchestra of Wales trumpet player Rob Samuel will judge the junior and youth sections, whilst Dave Hayward is the entertaining and informative compere
