Bands ready for battle in Dronfield

A trio of bands will battle it out for the Hallworth Challenge Cup in Dronfield on the weekend.

North East Derbyshire District Council will be hosting its 55th annual Brass Band Festival on Saturday, 7th September at Dronfield Sports Centre.

Generous prize fund

This year Matlock, Shirebrook Miners Welfare and Ireland Colliery (Chesterfield) will be locking horns to see who can claim their share of the generous prize fund on offer from local sponsors and the Hallworth Challenge Cup.
