Win two tickets to see the brilliant trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth, trombonist Peter Moore and London Philharmonic principal horn David Pyatt at The Brass Event in Cardiff.
Free tickets to be won
In this, the second of a series of exclusive competitions for 4BR with our friends at Arcomis, there is a pair of free tickets up for grabs to see trumpet virtuoso Tine Thing Helseth and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in action at The Arcomis International Brass Event, at St David’s Hall on Thursday 10th October.
Three of the best
The Brass Event opens with two inspired British brass concertos and an Armenian firecracker, performed by three of Europe's most celebrated soloists. Join David Pyatt (horn), Peter Moore (trombone) and Tine Thing Helseth (trumpet), whose virtuoso performances will be augmented by famous brass-led orchestral repertoire by Paul Dukas and Leos Janacek.
Fantastic opportunity
The Brass Event, October 10th—13th, is a fantastic opportunity to experience the world's most celebrated brass musicians and music in one place, at one time.
The event will package an unrepeatable programme of soloists, ensembles and masterclasses into an exceptional four day festival of ‘Brass without Boundaries’.
Time and place
The Norwegian trumpet virtuoso will appear at the closing concert of The Brass Event, on Thursday 10th October at 7.30pm at St David's Hall in Cardiff, with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, horn virtuoso and London Philharmonic Orchestra principal David Pyatt and former BBC Young Musician of the year, trombonist Peter Moore — and you can win a pair of tickets!
