Leicestershire Contest Open for business

The popular LBBA Open will be taking place in November so get your early entry in now.

The Leicestershire Brass Band Association has informed 4BR that their popular LBBA Open Contest, is to be held on Sunday 24th November at Charnwood College, Loughborough in Leicestershire.

Closing date

Entries are now being taken, with a closing date of 28th September.

Adjudicators this year include Pater Bassano, Paul Norley, Ian Brownbill and Nicholas Garman.

Record numbers

Following last year’s outstanding entry of 72 bands, the organisers are hoping to top that number this time around, and are encouraging bands to get their entries in as soon as possible.

Once again there are six sections for entry, from Championship to Unregistered.
