This weekend, the Intermediate Youth Band Champions of Great Britain and recently crowned Music for Youth Performance Practice Award Winners Wardle High School Youth Band will embark on a well long tour of Spain.

Concerts

The young players and their supporters will be based at the Callela resort and will perform concerts in Barcelona as well as the Loret de Mar water park.

This is just one of many concert tours the school have undertaken since their formation in 1977, including tours to Lake Garda, Venice, Sorento and the Walt Disney World Resort Florida and Paris Disneyland.

This is a great way to end the school year for the band. They have worked so hard undertaking all the major competitions, so it’s the ideal time to still keep playing but also enjoy ourselvesWardle High School
