4BR has been informed that John Maines has accepted the position of Musical Director of Soundhouse Brass in Plymouth.

With former MD David Shead recently moving to take up a position with the Oman National Orchestra, John stepped in to lead the band at the recent Weston Super Mare contest, at only two weeks notice.

With John’s help the players hope to return to competitive contesting and building upon its reputation as a fine concert bandSoundhouse Brass
