2Day
The presenter launches '2Day', which features all of Radio 2's music in one day, live from the stage of London's Hackney Empire Theatre.
Zone One will be conducted by a certain other Radio 2 presenter, Frank Renton and will perform a number of times between 7.00am and 10.00am.
8 million
The show is the most listened to radio programme in the country, with over eight million listeners.
"It's not everyday that brass bands get that kind of audience!" Zone One MD Richard Ward told 4BR.
"It's going to be an early start, and will see a convoy of cabs leaving at 4.30am to get us there on time, but we're all looking forward to it! It's a huge profile date for us and banding in general and we hope we can do the movement proud!"
Lesson
Zone One will be involved in the whole show, and there will be introduction to all the instruments involved, with Jon Stokes giving sports reporter Vassos Alexander lessons on the trombone!
The band will be playing a mix of pop tunes and some Chris Evans favourites, as well as live versions of the Breakfast Show jingles.
