Yorkshire Area champion Drighlington helped celebrate St George’s Day recently, despite having a fair sprinkling of Celts in their band – including Welsh MD, Jim Davies.
Service
The St. George's Day service was held at Leeds Minster where the band assisted the Leeds branch of the Royal Society of St. George in celebration of the Patron Saint of England.
The service was attended by the Mayor of Leeds with the address given by the Rector of Leeds, whilst Drighlington provided the musical accompaniment alongside the choirs of Morley Academy, Victoria Primary School & Commuity and the Leeds Minster Choir.
