Newly crowned Yorkshire champions set to perform at newly refurbished Airdrie Town Hall.

The refurbished Airdrie Town Hall will play host to a concert by recently crowned Yorkshire Regional Champions, Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band on Sunday 5th May at 2.30pm.

A spokesperson for North Lanarkshire Council told 4BR: "It’s an honour to have this award winning band visit us, especially given their recent record of outstanding success."

They added: "The council is hosting the concert, advertised on 4BR, as part of our entertainment programme at this wonderful venue. It’s a concert not to miss, especially as they have a number world class solo performers in their ranks."
