Fresh from their first performance at RNCM Festival of Brass, the Foden's Youth Band are delighted to announce a number of new supporters who have been helping the band to blossom.

Goldy picture

The FYB members were recently presented with an individual copy of the bands first ever official photograph courtesy of Ian Clowes at Goldy Solutions. Ian works extensively with Foden's providing publicity shots and has now extended this work to include the youth band.

Sterling cheque

Meanwhile, during their performance at the recent RNCM Festival, Paul Riggott of Sterling Instruments presented them with a cheque for £500.

This will enable the band to continue with its aim of engaging world class soloists and commissioning new pieces from aspiring young composers.

Sterling already works closely with Foden's players in developing their range of instruments and are now actively supporting their youth initiative.

It is enabling us to offer the kind of opportunities we set out to provide for talented young players."
