76 entrants for West of England Area

76 bands will line up at the Riviera Centre in Torquay in March to battle for Cheltenham and Albert Hall qualification places.

Flowers players celebrate in 2012

4BR has been informed that 76 bands, three less than in 2012, will compete at the West of England Regional Championships following the announcement of the list of entrants for the event at the Riviera Conference Centre in Torquay on the weekend of 9th & 10th March.

Satisfactory entry

Secretary to the Council, Brian Elliott told 4BR: "We are pleased to announce a most satisfactory entry of 76 bands to the West of England Regional Championships. The Council, as always, look forward to a competitive but friendly and enjoyable weekend of fine music."
