Unison boosted by new quartet

Uniosn Kinneil's Scottish Championship hopes have been boosted by a quartet of new signings.

Unison Kinneil Band has announced the signing of four players as they prepare for the forthcoming Scottish Championships at Perth Concert Hall in March.

New players

Chris Ball makes the move from Kirkintilloch to join on solo horn, whilst Masters graduate Grant Holding fills the soprano vacancy. Lucy Anderson makes a welcome return to the band after successful spells at Co-operative Funeralcare and Kirkintilloch.

Also making a return after the birth of her first child is Fiona Drury, who comes in to join Graeme McGregor and Andrew Nelson by taking up the vacant second trombone chair.

September 5 • We are looking for FLUGEL player to join our highly motivated 4th section band. We are a very welcoming and sociable band, with a positive outlook and a reasonably busy calendar of engagements. Other enquiries are welcome.


Rushden Town Band

September 2 • 2nd Trombone position has become vacant as current holder off to University. Rehearsals Mondays and Wednesday at Rushden Hall. RTB is a friendly 1st Section band who have recently come back from their second tour abroad and also released their first CD.
