Cory Band will finish the year as the number one band in the World of Brass — 4barsrest.com Rankings for a remarkable sixth year in succession following its recent victory at the Brass in Concert Championship.
A busy end to the 2012 contesting season also saw national championships taking place in Denmark (won by Lyngby Taarbaek), Belgium (Brass Band Buizingen), Switzerland (Fribourg), The Netherlands (Schoonhoven) and Sweden (Windcorp), with all the winners going forward to next year’s European Championships in Oslo.
