Report & Results: 2012 DCBBA Solo, Duet & Quartet

A fine turn out of playing talent in the North East with prizes galore for the competitors.

Young player

There was an excellent turn out of performers at the recent Durham County Brass Band Association Solo, Duet & Quartet Contest held at the Blackhall Community Centre, where adjudicator Ken Hewson enjoyed plenty of wonderful playing.

Thanks

DCBBA Secretary, Mavis Lloyd told 4BR: "We thank everybody who entered. It was a very pleasant and successful day and everybody did a great job. The adjudicator was very impressed with the standard of playing, and we hope to see even more people next year."
