There was a fine turn out of bands for the 95th NIBA Championship held in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh.

Adjudicator Chris Wormald enjoyed a full day of performances from bands in the various sections, with the Championship title claimed by 1st Old Boys Silver, who will now be invited to compete at the 2014 European Brass Band Championships in Perth in Scotland.
3rd Carrickfergus took a clean sweep of the honours in the Grade 2 contest, with Comber Silver claiming the Grade 3 title. Warrenpoint Silver was crowned Grade 4 winners with Kilkeel taking the Grade 5 title. The youth award went to 1st Old Boys Juniors
