Staff welcome new trio

The Staffordshire Band welcomes a trio of new young players.

The Staffordshire Band has welcomed the signing of a trio of new players.

Lauren Evans has joins the Midlanders on first horn, Alan Gifford on solo trombone and Mark Lowe on solo euphonium.

Great news

Chairman Shaun Elliott told 4BR: "This is great news for the band. It’s great to see such highly talented young players join, especially in these important positions. I'm sure that they will have a significant impact on us."

He added: "Our position as Brass Band in Residence at Forest Arts Centre in Walsall continues to strengthen as we enter our second year, with sell-out concerts and a number of new initiatives soon to be launched.
