4BR has been informed that the East Anglian Brass Band Association is to change its registration procedures for its 2013 contest in May next year.

Red tape

Association Chairman Christine Wade told 4BR: "We appreciate that band people are busy people and we want to keep red tape to a minimum.

For our 2013 contest each band will be asked to submit an alphabetical list of their players two weeks before the event. There will be no need for the bands to have registration cards."

The contest which is open to members of the Association and non–members will be held at St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich.

Details of the contest and entry forms will be sent out at the end of November/beginning of December.
