The West Midlands Brass Band Association will be holding a Youth Training Day on Saturday 24th November at Studley High School, Warwickshire.
Open to all
The day will be led by Warren Belshaw, Musical Director, City of Birmingham Band and is open to brass and percussion players aged under 18 years of all playing standards.
Aim
A spokesperson told 4BR: "The aim of the day is to improve the playing standards of the participants through group sessions with tutors and in a full band environment.
The Association training days encourage and motivate young players to attain higher standards to benefit their own bands and the wider community, as well as themselves."
The event is open to all brass bands, brass groups and individuals. The cost is £5.00 per person.
