After a few months of rather mixed and variable weather, the East Riding of Yorkshire Band finished their outdoor summer season of concerts with a trio of events where they provided fine music in fine weather to audiences in Hornsea, Filey and Harrogate.

Well received

A well received performance at the Memorial Gardens at Hornsea on the first Sunday of September was followed by an equally enjoyable concert at Filey on a hot summer day at the town’s bandstand.

Bloomed

They finished their summer season with an accomplished performance at the famous Harrogate Flower Show where they literally bloomed under the baton of new Musical Director Ian Scott.
