The Fairey Band has announced that they have appointed Jim Fieldhouse as their new principal euphonium.
Multi faceted
The multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and music educator performs with many of the UK’s leading jazz and classical ensembles and for the past seven years has been principal euphonium of the Hepworth Band in Yorkshire.
The RNCM graduate spends much of his time playing saxophone in big bands, pop bands and touring shows and often does orchestral extra work with the Hallé, Liverpool Philharmonic, Northern Sinfonia and the BBC Philharmonic.
