Twiss takes turn on sop seat at Marsden

The experienced Ian Twiss takes over the soprano role at Marsden following departure of Dale Garner.

The Marsden Band has announced that due to family reasons, soprano player Dale Garner has taken a break from banding.

A spokesperson told 4BR: “We thank Dale for all his hard work and commitment to the band. He has been a very fine player for us as was shown by him winning numerous solo awards at contests.

We are delighted to find an ideal replacement in Ian, who has so much experience at playing at the very top level."

It has been revealed that the experienced Ian Twiss will replace him with immediate effect.
