Bandmaster Ltd has helped Alder Valley Brass in preparing for their showpiece concert featuring special guest soloist Matthew White of the Cory Band.
Celebration
The ‘Celebration 2012’ concert will take place at the Farnham Maltings, Surrey on Saturday 15th September, 7.30pm.
The concert promises to be a musical celebration showcasing the finest in brass band and contemporary music inspired by the events of 2012 including the Queens Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics.
Cory star
The Aldershot based band will be joined by the highly talented young euphonium star Matthew White.
The BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Soloist of the Year in 2010 has claimed many individual performance titles in his short career. He is a former Black Dyke Young Artist of the Year, winner of the ‘Best Soloist’ Award at the Brass in Concert Championships and is currently Principal Euphonium of the world famous Cory Band.
The concert will also feature Matthew perform Peter Graham’s ‘Bravura’ and Paul Nero’s ‘The Hot Canary’.
